Everyone Is Waiting

Not for what Trump wants, but for what they want...

How long have you been waiting? It depends on how early you became WOKE. How long have you really tuned into the political news and realized our president is ripping off the whole country? He’s a convicted felon, a rapist, a con artist, a hate-filled person who delights in turning people against each other. I could spend the next 50 lines reciting the horrors that he has visited on this country.

How old is that bottle of champagne in the refrigerator? Don’t worry, it doesn’t have an expiration date. Maybe you need to add a 2nd or 3rd bottle to your stash. You might want to share with the neighbors.

You may be old, you might be a first time voter, a woman, a man, a trans person, a person of color, an immigrant, a person whose 6th great-grandfather came to this continent in the 1600s. When the time comes, we will all join in the celebration. Let’s not limit this, citizens of countries all around the world are waiting for this moment of celebration.

They aren’t waiting for a birthday celebration for the president, for a garish and trashy cage fight on the White House lawn. It’s not that kind of celebration. If you haven’t guessed by now, what they are waiting for, then you are part of the problem.

Anyone can join in on the street party that will erupt across the nation “when it happens.” Come out of your house, bring a kitchen pot to bang on, bring a handful of American flags, bring your trumpet or some music. There will be dancing in the streets.
